Meet DAMA
” When we talk about sustainability, we are not talking about the fashion of the moment, nor a commercial factor, but rather a fundamental choice for the protection of the environment “

Who Is DAMA
The DAMA brand interprets sustainable fashion as part of the rapidly growing ethical trend philosophy of recent years.
It involves all phases of the garment’s life from the selection of raw materials, through manufacture, to end-of-life and recycling.
From an environmental point of view, sustainable fashion pays attention to the use of recycled materials and the use of natural resources.
WHY IS THE CHOICE OF FABRIC IMPORTANT ?
After food, clothing is the thing we are most in constant contact with. So the choice of fabric really makes a difference.
Most of the toxic substances in textiles are absorbed by the body, which is why the choice of materials is important.
Dama uses OEKO-certified fibres.
The advantages of natural fibres are softness and breathability as well as being biodegradable.
A highly breathable fabric that is smooth and soft to the touch. Increasingly popular in sustainable fashion, bamboo is an antibacterial fibre.
Follows precise cultivation standards which results in less use of toxic substances. It is softer to the touch and highly breathable. The reduction in treatments also makes it a hypoallergenic fabric.
Present in small quantities, it is made from waste raw materials destined for incinerators. Unlike synthetic fabrics, it contains no petroleum and does not accumulate electrostatic charges. In addition to having a lower cost, it maintains the main characteristics of the fabric and gives the garment strength and breathability.
Modal is a textile fibre obtained by spinning cellulose extracted from beech trees. It is a fabric that is highly resistant to wear and UV rays, does not discolour after the first wash, retains its characteristics even as it ages, and is a biodegradable fabric.
It has excellent air permeability, much better than traditional cotton: it is a good material for making sportswear due to its breathability qualities, improves physiological circulation and body health.
Make your choice consciously and give yourself a better future.
